It is very important for us to find the right match for your intellectual property, and the more we know about your new product, the easier that will be. Evaluation Process Our invention marketablity review process consists of two important phases. These are: 1. The Pre-Evaluation Phase: This phase is designed to both screen and process a large number of inventions submitted for approval into the program. It will aid us in determining if the invention is compatible with the current marketing criteria. This is a very important stage, as it is where we actually qualify the invention for further development.2. The Full-Evaluation Phase: If the invention passes the Pre-Evaluation phase successfully, following a completion term of from 4 to 8 weeks a formal evaluation will be provided to you. During this time our team will be locating potential licensees, or structuring the development of your new product for launch. Of course you'll be contacted by us during this phase of the operation, for updates, advice, or whatever.Set Criteria: Following the Full-Evaluation Phase, InventNet International then decides if the invention is acceptable for further development and/or marketing.Accepted Inventions A Product Development Agreement will be contracted between InventNet International Corporation, and the inventor of record. This agreement will include, among other terms, language that gives our Corporation exclusive rights to license your invention for one full year (exclusive) and to grant licenses to licensees on behalf of the inventor, provided such licensees are suitable and in the inventor's best interest. In the event that our Corporation has entered into a negotiating position with a potential licensee, the one-year shall continue until the negotiations are completed. The gross royalty revenue sharing has a 50%/50% start-up basis, that changes to 40/60 in favor of the inventor when the annual royalties exceed $1,500,000 per year, and it changes to 30/70 percent in favor of the inventor if royalty annuals reach or exceed $3,000,000 per annum. Our Goals It is felt that our goals are synergistic with those of the inventors of today. The entire team involved in InventNet International Corporation are all known inventor advocates, marketing experts, and licensing brokers, as well as engineers, design people, and others. We seek long-term relationships with a true partnership relation with the inventors who qualify for the program. Should we not accept your invention for the program, it does not mean that we think you have a bad invention, it only means that at the current time we have no interest in pursuing it further. Also, since we deal with a tremendous number of inventors in any given month, unfortunately we do not have time to individually answer questions on the telephone. Should we need further information about your innovation, we shall call you during the evaluation process. |
